Security
Basically, the majority of Mindanao, like the rest of the country, is relatively safe, although the Autonomous Region of Muslim Mindanao should be avoided. The tours conducted by Adventure Tours Philippines take place exclusively in safe areas and lead to selected and well-known spots. Since the Philippines is a relatively poor country, there are certain basic rules that must be followed in order to avoid unpleasant experiences. Also note that despite the careful selection of our routes, stopovers and destinations, minor inconveniences like barking dogs, crowing roosters at night, non-functioning toilet flushing and insufficiently cleaned air conditioning units in the room may occur as most of the island is not yet touristically developed. However, in such a case we will do our best to find an adequate replacement for you.

Mindanao has his own specific cuisine, but normal western food is available in the centers of the cities as well, anyways a highlight everyone should experience is the famous tuna belly and a boodle fight what will be served at the welcoming evening of your adventure trip.
